I hope all of you are well! today I am posting the results of my Around the World Recipe Challenge.
This challenge was inspired by my friend Lina over at Lin´s Recipes . I chose two recipes to make and these included Frikadeller from Denmark and Fateh b’Hummus from Lebanon. I found the recipe for the Frikadeller here and the sensational recipe for the Fateh b’Hummus here.
Both recipes were quite easy and we enjoyed them so much! The frikadeller were made with some homemade french fries. They were so good!
They were easy to make too! The really big hit was the recipe from Lebanon, not necessarily because the recipe was better but simply because it was a new take on one of our favourite appetizers which happens to be hummous.
I made it with some homemade pita bread and it was just divine. It was topped with some toasted pine nuts and it was wonderful. It was a simple mixture of yogurt, lemon, cumin and tahini paste. I have to remember this recipe the next time I have company! I soaked my garbanzos the night before and boiled them myself the next day. I do believe there is a taste difference.
Here are the other pariticipants in my challenge and I am looking forward to seeing the goodies they made. Ladies, thank you so much for joining me!
Austria- Wiener Schnitzel Anotherfoodieblogger
Nepal- Momos CHcooks
I will share the recipes once more in a separate post!
Have a good weekend everyone!
