I have to thank Sadie over at Sadie´s Nest for nominating me for this award! What a nice surprise! Thank you, Sadie, for thinking of me! I am including a peach gazpacho with this recipe because it seems appropriate for this award! In Spain, gazpacho is a MUST to survive the heat and a touch of fruit, in my opinion, makes it wonderful!
Here were my questions:
1. What do you think is essential to bring on a road trip?
I always bring a cookbook with me! On my lats road trip, I brought Julia Child´s ¨Mastering the Art of Fench cooking¨and had a ball chatting with my hubby about the different recipes. Then I bookmark them and try them later!
2. What’s the best thing you’ve ever eaten?
Tough question but I think it was in Bordeaux in a restaurant called, ¨LÉntrecote¨. France, (and Switzerland )without a doubt, has the best quality foods I have ever tried. Their meat is incredible and their dairy products are out of this world. This is a sirloin steak with a lemon tarragon sauce. Truly heavenly. I even blogged about it once and did a copycat recipe! The phots don´t do it justice. My husband and I are going back to France this August and he told me he will take me to this restaurant again! Oh.. I can´t wait!
3. As a blogger, do you prefer screen or texts in print?
In print. I love writing in my books and sifting through them. As the years go by, they have a few stains and wear but I love them so much!
Here are my questions:
What or who cheers you up?
What is a book or movie you recommend?

I nominate two lovely ladies for this award.

Purplenais This blog always makes me think and I can let off some steam! She and I think alike and always seems to share a good laugh!
And now for the peach Gazpacho!
Ingredients (Serves 4)
1 kilo of tomatoes, scalded and chopped
1/2 small onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/2 red pepper, chopped
1/2 large garlic clove, chopped
400 g fresh peaches, peeled and chopped (That was about 4 small peaches)
3/4 cup of good quality olive oil
1/2 cup sherry vinegar
salt and pepper
Blitz all the ingredients together in a food processor until liquified. Taste and see if you want to add anything else, but remember that the taste improves significantly over a few hours.Chill in the fridge for a few hours then check again if you need to add more salt and pepper, olive oil or vinegar. Serve extra cold with cheese and peach slices! A great way to relax on a lazy summer afternoon!
Enjoy and thank you for reading. xxxx Natascha
